Okay... I don't normally do this, but I'm going to make an exception.

For those of you who are fans of FFVII fanfiction, you may or may not have heard of the Genesis Awards by now. These awards are being set up by a group of fans in order to recognize the best - and often most-overlooked - FFVII fanfiction on the 'net. Unfortunately, the original organizer had a personal crisis and had to drop out, and now the person who took over is having a hard time keeping the awards alive and well.

This is where you come in.

If you're a fan of FFVII fics, or if you write them yourself, head on over and check out the awards. Be sure to sign up on the forums, and feel free to jump in on any of the discussions that are currently available. I know there's not a whole lot of them at the moment, but things are slowly starting to pick up once more.

Oh yes... and the awards need judges. I'm not judging, because I hate being critical of people's work. I'd much rather be encouraging. If you don't mind telling people what sucks about their stories in addition to what's good, though, you may want to sign up as a judge. Me, I'll just stick to being a consultant, lol.
